Your questions answered…

How much do you charge?

We offer a range of packages designed to suit (almost) every need, from sole traders to small businesses with a team. This means you have a fixed monthly investment, so you can budget easily. You can get as much or as little help with your bookkeeping as you need. You know exactly what you’ll get on a weekly, fortnightly, quarterly and yearly basis. And we do it all in less time (and possibly with less errors) than if you were to struggle through it yourself.

In short, we’re likely to charge less than your hourly rate. Which means you’re better off paying us and spending the time you save earning more money at a higher rate or building your business 😉

The first step is to have a chat and see if and how we might work together. From there I can advise you on the best fit package for you.

How do we get started?

If you’re interested in working with us, get in touch and we’ll arrange a time for a chat. There’s no cost or obligation. During the chat, I’ll work out where you’re at and where you’d like to be. I then go through the options and packages for us to provide bookkeeping support for your business. If I feel I can help you and you’d like to proceed, then we can start working together.

Will we still need an accountant?

A bookkeeper will never replace your accountant. Our job is to be the go between, between you and your accountant. We keep all of your books in order so that the accountant doesn’t have to do as much work at tax time. We make it easier for them, so your accounting bill is lower than if they had to do the things we do.

We don’t stop there. We’re part of your team, so we take on all the bookkeeping tasks that make you cringe – debt collecting, systems and processes, payroll, super, BAS – all the things!

(And doing your BAS through us is much more cost effective than if you get your accountant to do it!)

What if I have questions about my books?

I am always just a phone call away. Depending on your package, we also schedule regular meetings to discuss where you stand, where you could save money and how you could increase your profits. You’ll be provided with cashflow forecasts and reports so you always know where you stand and whether or not you can afford the things you need.

How do I know your work is accurate?

Great question! Everything we do is based on the data you give us (or allow us access to). On top of that, we get to know you as a person too. So when we’re processing the data, we know if something sounds off and can pick up if something’s missing. We also offer suggestions on the things you can and can’t claim.

Everything gets overseen by myself personally. I treat each of my clients’ businesses as though they’re my own, so everything is double and checked.

On top of all of that, your accountant will usually also look over your books as a final checkpoint.
